Post 1: Minibus Driver (1 year fixed term contract)

Actual Salary Details: Grade B £ 2,310 - £2,450 (depending on experience)

7.0 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic minibus driver to transport students between school, home and college on a daily basis.  A current valid driving licence (category D1 is essential).   The successful candidate may be required to undertake additional training (MIDAS) in order to drive the vehicle. 

The working hours will be 7.0 hours per week during term time as follows:

Monday & Friday:            7.30 – 8.45 am and 3.00 – 4.15 pm

Tuesday:                            8.45 – 9.45 am and 2.00 – 3.00 pm

Some flexibility will be required to cover additional hours on occasions.

The post is initially offered on a 1 year fixed term contract basis, but may be extended depending on the needs of the school.

6.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic minibus driver to transport students between school and home on a daily basis.  A current valid driving licence (category D1 is essential).   The successful candidate may be required to undertake additional training (MIDAS) in order to drive the vehicle. 

The working hours will be 6.25 hours per week during term time as follows:

Monday to Friday:           3.00 – 4.15 pm

Some flexibility will be required to cover additional hours on occasions.

The post is initially offered on a 1 year fixed contract basis, but may be extended depending on the needs of the school.

Cover Supervisor (1 year fixed term contract)

Grade C £11,487 - £12,927 (actual salary, depending on experience)

32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8.25 am – 3.10 pm) – 39 weeks per annum 

Required for September 2014, this role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience of working in schools by supervising classes and delivering set work during short-term absence of teachers.  This will include lunchtime duties, examination invigilation and administration support to faculties.  This is a busy role requiring a patient but assertive manner and the ability to deal with a range of situations. 

You will need to have attained GCSE Maths and English Grade C (or equivalent). Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work both as a team and independently.   Previous experience of working with young people is desirable.

Faculty Administrator (Permanent)

Grade B £7,261 - £7,700 (actual salary) 39 week - term time only

22 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Possessing excellent organisation and IT skills you will be supporting administration functions to the Humanities, Science and D&T Faculties. Knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.

Administration Assistant (Permanent)

Grade B £4,951 - £5,251 (actual salary) 39 week - term time only

15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12.45 pm - 3.45 pm

Possessing excellent organisation and IT skills you will be supporting administration functions for Student Services.   Knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.  An up to date First Aid Certificate is advantageous.

PE Technician

Grade C £7,952 - £8,949 (actual salary) 39 weeks per annum

22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday                          

To prepare, organise and maintain materials and equipment within the PE faculty for classroom use, to enhance student learning and to undertake a variety of tasks in support of the teaching staff in the PE Faculty.

This post would suit someone who has a passion for physical education and working with young people.

Library Assistant

Actual Salary Details:  Grade C £6,185 - £6,960  (depending on experience)

17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (10.30 am – 2.00 pm) 39 weeks per annum 

From September 2014 we are looking to appoint a keen and enthusiastic person to assist the LRC Manager in delivering a high quality service to our students.  The desire to promote books, reading and learning is a key role of this post.

Library experience, although desirable, is not essential, as training can be given.
